Kinertia
A private note from Josh
Not a job post

We found you for a reason.

Hiring is noisy right now. AI resumes. AI cover letters. Mass applications. That is not how we want to find great people.

So we are doing this differently. We are recruiting people we think might actually be excellent.

Who is reaching out?

My name is Josh. I’m the CEO of Kinertia.

We are a Pittsburgh-based data analytics company working with serious clients on serious data problems.

Our office is in Bakery Square. We offer full benefits. We care a lot about quality, ownership, and people who can think clearly through messy problems.

A team photo with Josh circled and labeled 'That's me, Josh.'
That’s me, Josh — just so you know who you’ll be talking to.
What we are looking for
A problem solver who does not need to be chased.

Someone who can work through ambiguity, ask better questions, learn fast, communicate clearly, and keep showing up with a builder’s mentality.

Technical SQL, Python, analytics engineering, data pipelines, dashboards, web analytics, or similar experience.
Independent You can own a problem, figure out what matters, and move it forward without constant hand-holding.
Curious You actually like this work. You build, read, test, improve, and care about whether the numbers are right.
The process

No resume theater. No fake hoops.

If this seems interesting, book a short conversation with me.

We will talk face-to-face, human-to-human. I will tell you what we are building, what kind of person succeeds here, and we can both decide whether there is a real fit.

Next step

Book a quick conversation.

This is intentionally simple. If we reached out, it means something about your background stood out.

Pick a time that works. We can skip the usual nonsense and have a real conversation.

This opens Josh’s calendar directly.
